The Franciscan friars made the first Lenten peregrination to the Franciscan shrine of Dominus Flevit, on the Mount of Olives, on Wednesday 28 February. The “peregrinations” are weekly liturgical appointments which take place in the places of the Holy City where the events linked to the Passion of Jesus are evoked. Christians can thus do a special meditation during Lent through visiting, lingering and praying at exactly the places connected with the pre-Easter memories. The 45th Biblical-Theological Refresher Course (CABT) came to an end in Jerusalem on Friday22 April, after four intense days. The Course, supported by the Studium Biblicum Franciscanum (SBF), started on Tuesday 19 April in the Immaculate Auditorium of St Saviour’s Covent and lasted four days, with lectures in the morning and guided visits in the afternoon.
