The Feast of St. Clare

The Custody of the Holy Land is pleased to remind all that the feast of St. Clare will take place on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th of August.
The Poor Clare sisters invite us to participate in the celebrations of their founder in this special year of their 800th anniversary.


The celebrations are scheduled as follows:

Monastery of S. Clare, Jerusalem

- August 10th 6.00 p.m. I Vespers, in the presence of F. Custos Pierbattista Pizzaballa

- August 11th 9.30 a.m. Mass presided by His Beatitude Fouad Twal, in the presence of the French Consul Mr. Frédéric Desagneaux

- 6.00 p.m. II Vespers, with p. Frédéric Manns ofm
