On 29th October in Amman, Jordan, in the chapel of the Terra Santa College Fr. Ibrahim Pio al Haddad pronounced the solemn profession of the evangelical counsels, in the hands of the Custos Father of the Holy Land, Father Pierbattista Pizzaballa.
Friar Ibrahim, surrounded by his family and many friars, from Jordan, Bethlehem where he currently lives, Syria and Jerusalem, was greatly moved. Fr. Noel Muscat, master of the seminarians and Fr. Rachid Mistrih, Guardian and Director of the Amman College, were the witnesses of these solemn promises.
Fr. Ibrahim Pio was born in 1967 and in Italy in September 2005 he pronounced his first vows. The Celebration of the Eucharist was animated by the choir of young pupils of the school and there were many religious, men and women, from all over Jordan.
At the end of the Holy Mass, all those present gathered around the excited and beloved Fr. Ibrahim Pio, his family and all the friars present, in the courtyard of the College for a joyful and fraternal agape.
