The aim of this initiative is to bring about a great intercessory prayer to God the Father for our times, from all Christians, beginning in and proceeding from Jerusalem. It is hoped that this initiative will also develop a greater reciprocal awareness and understanding among Christians. Each prayer is held, as far as possible, in the organizing Church’s liturgical language. Made accessible by adequate translation, these prayers also seek to express the richness to be found in the various traditions of the Church. The broadcast is freely available to all Christian channels wishing to broadcast it. It is accompanied by a documentary on the hosting Church. Christians throughout the world are invited to continue to join spiritually, in a communion of prayer, each Saturday at 6 p.m., local time.
