The Christian community in Gaza has 2500 – two thousand five hundred – local members whilst the majority of religious men and women who carry out their apostolate in Gaza are from abroad. Almost all of them have chosen to remain there. The Mother Superior of the Sisters of Mother Theresa has encouraged her nuns with this invitation: “Look after the poor; the Lord will look after you”.
Let’s help the Lord to help the poor.
