On November 17, the Studium Theologicum Salesianum in Jerusalem celebrated in conjunction with the Dies Academicus its official recognition by the Holy See. With this act, the institution has become the English language section of the Faculty of Theology of the Salesian Pontifical University in Rome. The keynote lecture of Archbishop Savio Hon Tai-Fai, Secretary of the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples, was the highlight of the morning, in the presence of numerous guests.
