The Feast of Saint Claire

The Custody of the Holy Land is pleased to remind all of the celebrations for the Feast of Saint Claire on Wednesday the 10th and Thursday the 11th of August.
The Poor Claire Sisters invite all to participate in the celebrations of their foundress in this special year of the 800th anniversary.


The celebrations are scheduled as follows:

Monastery of S. Claire, Jerusalem

- August 10th 6.00 p.m., First Vespers, attended by Fr. Custos Pierbattista Pizzaballa ofm

- August 11th 9.30 a.m., Mass presided by His Beatitude Fouad Twal. The French Consul, Mr. Frédéric Desagneaux, will be present.

- 6.00 p.m., Second Vespers, attended by Fr. Frédéric Manns ofm
