The Franciscan Foundation for the Holy Land(FFHL), the humanitarian arm of the Custody of the Holy Land recently distributed over 5000 sets of the Encyclopidea Brittanica to the various Christian schools in Israel proper and the West Bank. Each Christian student in their last year of high school will received their own set of books thanks to Hope Charitable Services, a Christian evangelical outreach Church in Virginia in the U.S.
FFHL and Hope Charitable Services have partnered together to distribute items such as school bags, toys, diapers and food that will be given out each year to needy Christian students and families free of charge.
“We are very happy over these humanitarian projects that FFHL has undertaken to help with the needs of our Christian families here in the Holy Land”, said Fr. Pierbattista Pizzaballa , Custos and Chairman of FFHL, “and we look forward to helping more and more our marginalized people.”
