The day of 11 July started with the celebration of Holy Mass presided by Fr. Haitham Yalda Hano

Work began in the room at 9.00 a.m.; in the morning the capitula friars had the chance to hear the testimonies of  Fr. Hanna Jallouf and Fr. Luai Bsharat who are in the Valley of the Orontes, in the  north-west of Syria under the control of the jihadists. They related their experience and the difficulties that they have on a daily basis. In the second morning session, the Capitulars received the visit of the Apostolic Nuncio H. E.  Mons. Adolfo Tito Yllana, who thanked the friars for their presence and their service, both for the local people and for the pilgrims.

Then there was an exhibition of the first missal used by the friars dating back to the 13th century and some breviaries of the martyred friars of Damascus.
In the second afternoon session, the Capitular friars met for the updates on the Particular Statutes and the Special Statutes of the Custody of the Holy Land. 

The day came to an end with the celebration of Vespers and dinner.
