The photo exhibition “Glimpses of the Holy Land” comes about as a gesture of gratitude to the photographer from Trieste, Neva Gasparo (1951-2020) who during her repeated stays in Jerusalem was able to immortalize the most evocative glimpses, faces, and views of the city and of the Israeli-Palestinian territory.
Neva worked with passion and commitment with the Custody of the Holy land, the Terra Sancta Museum at the StudiumBiblicumFranciscanum, and the General Library of the Custody of the Holy Land.
The online exhibition winds its way through three sections (views, architecture and faces) and is part of the “LibriPonti di pace” (“Books Bridges of peace”)project, created by the CRELEB of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan in collaboration with the Custody of the Holy Land and with the association Pro Terra Sancta.
