Every Saturday at 12.00 noon (local time), the prayer of the Angelus in the Grotto of the Annunciation in Nazareth, the place where the Archangel Gabriel visited the Virgin Mary.
Every Saturday at 8.30 p.m. (local time), Procession by Torchlight from the Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth. Recital of the Rosary with the contemplation of the Joyful Mysteries.
Every day at 5.00 p.m. (local time), daily Rosary in St Catherine’s church – Basilica of the Nativity
Every day at 12.00 noon (local time), daily procession to the Grotto of the Nativity.
Every day at 4.00 p.m. (winter time) or at 5.00 p.m. (summer time), the procession of the Franciscan friars of the Custody of the Holy Land in the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre.
Every Friday at 3.00 p.m. (local time) the Franciscan friars of the Custody of the Holy Land go down the Via Crucis to the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre.
Ogni sabato alle 12:00 (ora locale), la preghiera dell'Angelus nella Grotta dell'Annunciazione a Nazareth, il luogo dove l’Arcangelo Gabriele visitò la Vergine Maria.
Ogni sabato alle 20:30 (ora locale), Fiaccolata dalla Basilica dell’Annunciazione a Nazareth. Recita del Rosario con la contemplazione dei misteri gaudiosi.
La Grotta della Natività è secondo la tradizione il luogo dove Cristo nacque dalla Vergine Maria. Sulla Grotta fu edificata la basilica a cinque navate nella quale si entra attraverso un umile ingresso.
Intorno alla Grotta della Natività ci sono altre grotte legate al ricordo di S. Girolamo.
A fianco della basilica sorge la chiesa di S. Caterina preceduta da un piccolo chiostro.
La basilica del Santo Sepolcro racchiude le memorie delle ultime ore del Signore Gesù sulla terra: il Calvario dove ha redento il mondo e il Sepolcro dove fu deposto e da dove risuscitò il terzo giorno.
La pietà cristiana ha collocato all’interno della basilica altri ricordi della passione e risurrezione del Signore.
