The Feast of Saint Maroun

They form the only church named after a Saint. In the world they are about 3 million, in the Holy Land just under 10,000, but they have lived in the Middle East for 17 centuries, that is, since the time of St. Maroun. It is from him that they have taken the name of "Maronites." And it's for the feast of their Saint that the Maronite Christians gathered in Jerusalem on Sunday, February 5, at the monastery of their community, one of many Christian groups in the Holy City.
