Today the celebration of the Mass was presided over by the youngest chapter member and newly ordained priest: fra Clovis Bettinelli, who addressed a few but significant words to the gathered assembly. He emphasized the command of the Gospel "do not be afraid", because it arises from the lack of faith in God. Therefore recognizing Christ before men is much more than talking about Him: it is total solidarity with his mystery of death and resurrection. Finally he invited to show his belonging to Jesus and to continue to carry out the mission entrusted to us with consistency and courage.

In the morning the Capitulars began their work by gathering in groups to discuss the proposals that have been formulated by the Commission Proposals for the Chapter and then try to formulate votes and resolutions, which represent two ways of expressing and adopting the proposals, which emerged from the works of group. These decisions were then presented in the halls by the respective groups who continued to work throughout the afternoon, before moving on to an intense plenary discussion that led them to a first drafting of the commitments that the Chapter wants to entrust to the Custody Government.

In the coming days they will have to find the final form that will have to be presented as the final outcome of the chapter work. Some brothers left Jerusalem in the evening to reach their various pastoral commitments in preparation for Sunday and will return Monday morning to resume the Chapter.
