Christian Information Centre (CIC)

The Custody of the Holy Land has sponsored the Christian Information Centre (C.I.C.) since 1973. The Center faces the Tower of David, next to the Jaffa Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem. The aim of the C.I.C. is to provide information on Christianity and on the Holy Land - including the shrines and the holy places, the numerous churches in the region, the liturgies, the aspects of religious and cultural life and other activities.

The Christian Information Center has a three-fold mission:
- Provide information and advice, by phone or in person, to pilgrims and residents;
- Supply media outlets, writers, scholars and religious communities with news concerning religious, scientific or cultural events taking place in the area;
- Distribute general information about Christian life in the Holy Land.

The Franciscan Pilgrims Office (FPO) coordinates Mass celebrations, Holy Hours and Prayer Services in the Shrines of the Custody of the Holy Land. For mass reservations and prayer services at the holy places, please contact:
